The Studio

Set In Stone Interiors is an independent interior design studion creating thoughtful, characterful spaces accross Purbeck.

We believe good design should feel considered, but never contrived; beautiful, but never at the expense of how a home actually works. Our interiors are shaped around the people who live in them, their routines, their personalities and the little things that truly make a house feel like a home.

Modern living room with a green sofa, patterned cushions, black and white accents, a black-and-white rug, and a wall with decorative white panels. There is a black bookshelf, pendant lighting, and a large potted plant.

Behind Set In Stone

Set In Stone was born from a love of interiors, a fascination with how people use their homes and a slightly unhealthy appreciation for a really good kitchen.

With a background spanning eight years in kitchen and bathroom design and the wider home-improvement industry, I’ve spent years helping people turn ideas into spaces that work in the real world. Alongside this experience, I have completed a degree in Interior Design with Falmouth University; bringing together practical knowledge with a broader, more considered approach to space, materials and design.

Set In Stone is the result: a design studio that sits somewhere between creativity and practicality, with a belief that the two should never have to compete.

CONSIDERED.

Every decision has a reason. From the way a room flows to the smallest piece of hardware, we consider how everything works together.

CHARACTERFUL.

We don’t believe your home should look like everyone else’s. Colour, texture, pattern, old and new; personality belongs in good design.

LIVEABLE.

Beautiful isn’t enough. Your home needs to work on a Monday morning, survive muddy should and accommodate real life.

Things we’re unlikely to compromise on:

  • Good lighting

  • Beautiful hardware

  • Clever storage

  • A decent floor plan

  • Natural materials

  • A little bit of weird (it’s usually a good thing).

LET’S MAKE A SPACE OF IT.
